Book News Announcement

Merrie Destefano, a guest poster at Spec Faith a couple weeks ago, is holding a contest for a free copy of her next book, Feast.

In line with full disclosure, I am posting this announcement so that I can earn more points in my own quest to win a copy. But I can also tell you what a talented writer Merrie is, so you should either enter the contest, pre-order a copy, or buy her first book, Afterlife.

  1. … or request your library purchase a copy. Now not only do I have first dibs on reading the book since it was purchased, but more people will have the opportunity to read it when I turn in. Libraries really are such underused resources.

  2. Michelle, that is an outstanding suggestion. Getting libraries to purchase a copy is one of the best ways to help new readers find an author. I regularly donate my CSFF blog tour books (the ones that aren’t ARCs) to my church library. In several instances, the librarian has then purchased the next books that came out from those authors.
